The Kelowna Fishing Derby is back, with a Reel twist:
Rustic Reel is hosting A REEL FISHING DERBY!

WHERE: Okanagan Lake and surrounding local lakes
WHEN: Saturday June 17th 2023
WHAT: A REEL FISHING DERBY!
This is a fishing derby for all ages and abilities!

Are you an expert at fishing?
Then head to that hidden lake that always has the fish hitting!

Are you a novice?
No problem! We'll have info packs with tips & tricks & suggested lakes!

No fishing gear?
Pick up a Reel Starter Fishing Pack & head out to catch your first fish!

FATHER'S DAY BRUNCH & PRIZE ANNOUNCEMENTS!
Come down to Rustic Reel Brewing to see if you're a winner!
Stay for a Father's Day Brunch and DIY Caesar Bar.

HOW IT WORKS:

REGISTER:
$65/adults, $25/kids 12 & under

*** ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. IN-PERSON REGISTRATION AT RUSTIC REEL BREWING FRIDAY JUNE 16TH 5-8PM ***


PACKAGE PICK-UP:
Pick up your registration package at Rustic Reel Brewing Friday June 16
5-8pm pick-up time

CHOOSE A LAKE:
Suggested locations & maps provided if you're new to fishing
or want to try something new.

Participants can fish at any lakes within the following Okanagan Regions of the BC Freshwater Fishing Regulations: 8-8, 8-9, 8-10, 8-11, 8-21, 8-22.


IT'S DERBY TIME:
Fish between 7am-7pm June 17th
Put on your derby wristband, pack your official ruler, & head out fishing!
Submit your catches via Derby App "MyCatch" - 2 submissions allowed!


SUNDAY FUNDAY:
Come down to Rustic Reel Brewing to see if you've won a prize!
Prizes awarded at noon. Winners not present will be contacted directly.
While you're here, enjoy a Father's Day Brunch and DIY Caesar Bar.

PRIZES:
-1 prize for longest (biggest) fish
-2 prizes for fish closest to randomly-chosen lengths
-1 Participation prize (name randomly drawn) for kids 12 and under
